The game has five game modes: Classic Bejeweled, Lightning, Butterflies, Diamond Mine, and Zen.

You’ll be able to earn achievements and collect badges as you go along. Bejeweled is integrated with Game Center.

Features of the app include classic fun, the ability to create special gems, amazing Retina graphics, super-smooth action, hints on demand, and the ability to see different stats. You can check out your top 10 personal bests, total matched gems, and your all-time best moves.

The Lightning round will require you to be super fast. The Classic mode has awesome new gems. Take some time out and relax in Zen mode. The Butterflies mode has you matching gems to free the butterflies before the hungry spider eats them. Diamond Mine challenges you to blast gems.

You’ll need an iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad with at least 16gb or more to enjoy this app with its awesome graphics.

Bejeweled was updated to Version 1.4 on November 26, 2012. The update optimized the app for the iPhone 5. The current version has 23,816 customer ratings with an average of five out of five stars.

I love Bejeweled and I especially like that you can play with one hand. Like all the other commenters, I experienced glitches with the butterflies. They don’t move up. This isn’t a fatal flaw but I would like to see the bug fixed.
