Piano... for iPad app review

Introduction

Piano… by Obie Leff turns your iPad into a piano that allows you to create incredible music.

This interactive learn piano app includes 24 animated songs that you can play. They all include background music so you'll have a complete sound. Playing the piano is extremely simple: just scroll the keyboard right or left using the area above the keys. To help you out the keys light up in connection with the song's rhythm so you'll know what note you should play. There are five octaves of keys to use.

Some of the songs include Mary Had A Little Lamb; Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star; and Hot Cross Buns. The music you'll be given fits in either the classical or traditional folk genre.

You can fully adjust the song and piano volume in the Settings menu so that it's customized to your liking. This gives you the ability to have the background music softer if you'd prefer so you can hear your playing easier.

Before you start, why not use Practice Mode. In this mode you can adjust the tempo of the song and slow it down as you learn how to play.

This latest update of the piano app features more responsive song animation and keys which makes it easier to play. Now when you touch a key it reacts immediately.
