Use this app as your pill ID, drug price comparison companion, medication reminder, medication guide, rx discount card, prescription coupon, and a source for FDA alerts and recalls. It's all about saving you money and keeping you informed when it comes to medications.

This pharmacy app also comes in handy if you happen to forget your MedList at your doctor's office. You can export and even email to your pharmacist and doctor through the app itself.

Learn about such information as how much your medication costs at other stores located nearby, if you're paying too much, and if your pharmacist will match the lowest price. Why pay top dollar if you can find it cheaper?

The medication reminder is a wonderful tool as well that makes sure you never forget to take important pills on time. The pill and package images stored within the app give you access to 12,000 pictures and there is an official guide for more than 20,000 medications that are all FDA-approved.

iPharmacy was updated on Mar. 22, 2013 and currently has six customer ratings with an average rating of three and a half out of five stars.

While I liked that this app was able to save me money on my prescriptions I think what stood out more was all the information I could access through it. It was interesting to read up on medications and learn in-depth information on them.
