iTranslate for iPad app review

iTranslate

Price: Free

iTranslate by Sonico GmbH is just like having your own personal translator with you no matter where you go.

This iPad app is known as one of the Top 100 apps of all time, with more than 30 million downloads. Those are the kind of stats that speak volumes about an app. This app is able to successfully translate more than 50 languages. You can translate whole text, phrases, and individual words.

What's especially handy is the ability to listen to your translation with voice integration this will allow you to properly use the word/phrase. You can control the speed and dialect of the translation as well. Speaking of voice features you can even use this app to speak the words/phrases you want to translate.
Other handy features include the word lists that save your translations and then go as far as to group them in language pair lists automatically, the ability to paste translated text by swiping, and dictionaries that offer translation results, suggestions, and meanings.

You can email your translations, view your translation history, use the auto detect languages, and of course enjoy the incredible looking design.

iTranslate was updated on Feb. 10, 2013 and currently has 718 customer ratings with an average rating of four and a half out of five stars.

This app was filled with great translation features which could make traveling a breeze. I loved the simple looking user-interface that made the app that much more enjoyable to use.

For: iPad with iOS 4.2 or later
