Fahrenheit Free by International Travel Weather Calculator is an app that will enable you to view the temperature on your Home Screen, Lock Screen, and Notification Centre.

This app will detect your location and display the local temperature so that you can always see how hot or cold it is with nothing more than a quick glance at your iPad.

Fahrenheit Free provides 3-day weather forecasts broken up into segments of three hours. Beyond the temperature, you will also have access to information such as humidity, pressure, rain, snow, UV index, and more.

This app allows you to add as many cities from across the globe as you want; perfect for quickly referencing the weather conditions for frequent flyers or loved ones that are out-of-state or overseas.

Fahrenheit Free was updated to version 2.07 in late-October of 2012. The current version has a total of 924 customer ratings with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars.

The main perk of this app is definitely the temperature display on the Lock Screen, but I definitely think it holds its own as a standalone weather app. The forecasts are detailed and the weather conditions appear to be mapped accurately.
