Letter Attack by heftyApps.com is a fun word game for your iOS device.

Your goal is to make as many words as possible in order to clear the board. Pay attention, though, because the clock is ticking. You can make words up to seven letters long, and sometimes certain letters are worth more, so use your noggin!

You’ll have to have a little luck while you use the proper strategy to play your words. You can play for a few minutes or for longer stretches, it’s up to you. All you have to do is pick the number of rounds you want to play and go!

Features of the game include high-quality graphics, no login required, randomly-generated game boards to provide you with unlimited gameplay, and no ads or in-app purchases to annoy you. You also get German and English dictionaries, a powerful word engine, a massive wordlist, and unchained gameplay: in other words, there’s no need for you to connect your letters in a certain order.

You get three game modes: Classic, Rush, and Survival.

The app is playable on your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, you don’t need an Internet connection to play, and the word lists are continuously updated.

Letter Attack was released at the beginning of April, 2013. The app does not yet have enough ratings for iTunes to display an average.

I love puzzle games and this one was really great. I like that you can play for as few or as  many minutes as you like, set by rounds, and that there appears to be an endless number of puzzles to play. If you like word puzzles that test your strategy skills, check out Letter Attack.

For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad with iOS 4.3 or later. Letter Attack is optimized for iPhone 5.
