Read Quick by Action Now is an app that utilizes innovative technology to enable you to read at speeds beyond anything you have experienced before.

With this app, you have the choice of either viewing articles directly through the web browser within the app, or through Instapaper. Read Quick will literally teach you to read at high speed while providing you with a words-per-minute gauge of your reading speed.

When Read Quick presents you with your reading list, each article will have an estimated reading time beside it based on your previous reading speeds, and the more you read through this app, the faster you will become.

This app also features in-app suggestions for reading material from sources such as GigaOm and Longreads, so you will never run out of fresh content to digest.

Read Quick was updated to version 1.4 in mid-March of 2013. The current version has received a total of 21 ratings with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars. Customer reviews are generally very positive.

I’m not sure that I personally can get used to reading in this style, but the concept for this app itself is fantastic and with a few tweaks here and there it could definitely become something special. I would definitely recommend giving Quick Read a try.
