PocketCloud Remote Desktop

Price: Free

PocketCloud Remote Desktop by Wyse Technology Inc. gives you a way to connect with your Windows or Mac desktop remotely with your iPad.

Just because you’re not sitting in front of your desktop computer doesn’t mean you can’t connect with it and access it thanks to this app. By downloading this app you'll be able to quickly and securely access your pictures, files, and applications like Photoshop, Word, and Outlook. As well you can access your games and other programs you have on your desktop. The app features RDP/VNC compatibility.

Features of this app include a touch point for mouse and keyboard control that is incredibly accurate, a custom keyboard with short-cut and function keys, and multi-line text entry with copy/paste ability. You'll be able to easily and safely set up using your Gmail account and there is no port-forwarding configuration needed. The app uses the most up-to-date remote desktop protocol (RDP) from Microsoft.

If you upgrade to the Pro version you'll be able to add multiple computers, 3rd party integration, it's ad free, custom display resolutions for RDP, and RDP sound with auto-bandwidth mode.

This app fully supports the iPhone 5 screen.

PocketCloud Remote Desktop was updated on Nov. 27, 2012 and currently has 948 customer ratings with an average rating of four and a half out of five stars.

This app made accessing my home desktop a breeze. As it promised it was easy and quick and I really liked that I was able to access all types of information whether it be files, photos, or even games.
