ZillyDilly for iPad is an app and iPad browser that allows you to safely monitor and control your kid’s online experience.
The app is set up to expose your kids to only the safest and best sites online. You don’t have to worry about your son or daughter being exposed to sites that are unacceptable, in appropriate, or otherwise unsafe.
All you have to do is download and launch the app, register yourself as a new user, and sigh up your child. After that, choose the pre-selected option. That’s it: now your child just has to log in and can enjoy tons of sites and games safely chosen and vetted by adults who care about your child’s online experience.
Every game and site your child will have access to is guaranteed to be age-appropriate for him or her.
The app was dreamt up and developed by psychiatrist Dr. Eitan Schwarz, an expert in child and adolescent psychiatry.
There are more than 90 games your kids can choose from, with more being added all the time.
Teachers can use the app to add to their curricula, using their iPad or PC.
The monitoring portion of the app allows parents to set weekly time limits, see which sites were visited, and the time that was spent online by each user. Parents can see these stats in real-time from any Internet-connected device.
ZillyDilly for iPad was updated to Version 2.3 on February 19, 2013. The update added some games, teacher features, and made some bug fixes. The app has a total of eight customer ratings with an average of five out of five stars.
I’ve downloaded this app onto my iPad. Registration was quick and easy, and I’m impressed with the amount of content available that is suitable for my four year old. I’m sure she’ll have a great time playing the games. As she gets older, I’ll definitely use this app a lot to control which sites she visits.
