Triposo by Triposo Inc delivers a worldwide travel guide straight to your iPad.

If you're looking for travel guides then look no further as this app is one giant travel guide that covers any destination you can think of. As an added convenience it even works offline.

Features of this app includes being able to download it once so you can access it offline moving forward, the ability to pick the country you'll be visiting when you start the app, and a dashboard that you can customize to show weather, useful phrases, and a currency converter.

When reading the guide you'll find information on major cities that includes a list of restaurants, a list of sights and attractions, nightlife suggestions, detailed city maps, and a country map. It’s like having a tour guide with you at all times answering all the questions you may have. The information found in these travel guides is gathered from such sources as Wikipedia, Wikitravel, World66, and Openstreetmap.

This latest version of the app now includes improved maps, faster download speeds, Yelp integration that lets you read all kinds of reviews (an Internet connection is needed), more complete guides that now feature images, and updates from the community about destinations.

This was a great way to find guides on every country/destination available in one handy location. I enjoyed the extra features like the maps, images, weather information, and the Yelp integration.
