Aurora Forecast. by TINAC Inc. is an app that enables you to easily see when the Northern Lights will be visible in your area.

This app will provide you with a plethora of information on the latest aurora activity along with detailed forecasts, all from the incredibly reliable NOAA POES and Geophysical Institute at UAF.

Aurora Forecast. enables you to view information such as the date and time, the activity level, NOAA POES satellite oval images, and even view space weather details.

Furthermore, this app will show forecast information such as the predicted activity level for any given day, as well as the SWPC Ovation Auroral Forecast. You can also set up push notifications depending on which hemisphere you are in and the forecasted activity level.

Aurora Forecast. was updated to version 1.12 in early-April of 2013. The current version has not yet received enough customer ratings to generate an average score; however, all versions have received a total of 34 customer ratings with an average rating of three out of five stars.

This app has me very impressed; the new update is set to have a great score once a few more users start leaving reviews.
