Coach’s Eye by TechSmith Corporation lets you record, review, and improve on your sports activities.

Chances are good that you watch a lot of sporting events and you have seen where they do a replay of an event or a players actions and then start to break things down and explain them with the on-screen drawings and such. This is what Coach’s Eye is all about. You can video and review everything you see from golf swings to batting practice which will help you improve over time.

Videos can be captured in Standard, High Definition, and HD+ but keep in mind the better the quality the more space the video takes up on your device. Video can be imported in Coach’s Eye from your Camera Roll, email, or certain apps like Dropbox. You can also share videos from other Coach’s Eye users by importing them onto your device.

Videos can be instantly reviewed and played back in slow motion so you can really analyze every moment of the entire playback. There are on-screen drawing tools that allow you to mark in different colors right over top of the video. You can also play two videos side by side for further comparison.

Coach’s Eye was last updated to Version 3.02 on April 14, 2013 and included fixes for importing longer videos and improved thumbnail generation. There have been 1338 ratings for all versions of this app with an average score of 4.5 out of five stars.
