Bamboo Paper for iPad app review

Bamboo Paper

Price: Free

Bamboo Paper by Wacom is a productivity  app that works as a notebook so you can jot down all your thoughts, ideas, and experiences.

This app has been designed for the iPad to feel incredibly real when it comes to using ink to write and draw with. The design is meant to look like a digital-notebook making you feel like it's the real thing. As you draw or write on the notebook one of the first things you'll likely notice is how responsive the inking is. Not only is it intuitive but it's also fast following all movements of your hand.

The app gives you access to one free notebook but if you want to buy additional ones to create a "library of notebooks" that can be done though the in-app purchase. If you've got a lot of notes, you can manage them by date or subject. You can also copy and move pages among all your notes and books.

For an even smoother feel when using this app it’s suggested you pick up the Bamboo Stylus also from Wacom. This will give you a faster and more responsive result as you draw and write.

Additional features of the app include being able to add photos to a notebook page and then draw and write on the photos, zoom into pages, and share your pages on Twitter or Facebook. As well you can save your note books on Evernote and Dropbox.

Bamboo Paper was updated on Feb. 20, 2013 and currently has 41 ratings with an average rating of four out of five stars.

I found this app incredibly responsive just as it promised and I liked how easy it was share, save, and manage my notes.

For: iPad with iOS 5.0 or later
