Universal Prompter Pro HD

Price: Free

Universal Prompter Pro HD by Orjen Solutions for your iPad is designed for all of those people with a fear of public speaking.

Because public speaking can be a nerve-wracking experience this app has been designed to help you deal with and ultimately conquer your fear of it. This app works by showing your text in a scrolling fashion so you can read through it during speeches and public engagements.

The way the app works is through three steps. You will first put together your speech/text by using the app. Next you will rehearse your text so that you have a chance to adjust the flow/speed of your text before your actual engagement. Finally is the last step in which you'll read your text in front of the public without worry of forgetting what you were going to say or losing your spot and so you’ll stay within your allotted time frame.

This app can be used for giving addresses, lectures, discourse, speeches, learning parts of a play, and even for practicing and rehearsing.

Features of this app include automatic scrolling so there is no need for you to do anything to the screen, you can change the reading speed, it displays an estimated reading time so you know the length of your text, you have the ability to enter in your text with a keyboard, and you can import text files from DropBox and Mail's attachments.

Universal Prompter Pro HD was released on Aug. 22, 2011 and currently has no customer ratings at the time of publishing.

This was an incredibly useful app that can completely change the outcome of your public reading/address. I found it was feature-packed, very easy to use, and really helped to calm the nerves while speaking.
