Triage: Email First Aid by Southgate labs lets you quickly sort through your email inbox.

Some people send and receive hundreds of emails every day and it gets to be quite taxing trying to stay on top of the incoming messages. Triage: Email First Aid is designed to help reduce the stress of sorting through your inbox by changing the way you read new emails. Let’s examine further to see if this is the best iPhone email app on the market.

Once you have set up your email account with Triage, which supports Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, and iCloud as well as most SMTP mail servers you will be able to start checking your inbox from within the app. When you check your inbox from Triage you will be shown a stack of cards with the title and sender name for the email as well as the message they sent.

Once you read over each card you have a choice and that is to either archive the message or leave it in your inbox. If you flick the card up it is archived, flick the card down and it is left in your inbox. This lets you quickly read over each message and deal with it in a hurry saving you headaches and wasted time. You can also tap a message card and write a quick reply.

Triage: Email First Aid was released as Version 1.0 on April 16, 2013 and has since received 43 ratings with an average score of 3.5 out of five stars.

This app is pretty cool and works really well if you get a lot of email coming into your inbox. It doesn’t appear it works with Hotmail or email servers requiring authentication though. After further consideration, this is one of the best email apps for iPhone and iPad.
