MobilePatrol by Appriss, Inc. is an app meant to help encourage public safety from Sheriff agencies that support the app.

This app features all kinds of handy tools for the community to use, delivered by Sheriff agencies. The idea is that this information goes right to your mobile device so you get it right away. Use this app to view the detention center that can be searched by name or last name, as well as recent bookings. The public is therefore able to view information about criminal activity.

There is a list of active warrants in the country, and the List of Most Wanted criminals. There is access to the VINE (Victims Information and Notifications Everyday), which is the National Notification Network. This gives victims of crime access to information about their case and even the status of the offender. This feature can be used 24 hours a day. What's great is that you can use this app to get warning of when that offender is released from jail.

Even find crime tips, information about child support warrants, emergency alerts, resources, and facility locations. Even though the app contains a lot of information and features it is easy to navigate from the main menu.

MobilePatrol was released on Apr. 5, 2013 and currently has 14 customer ratings with an average rating of five out of five stars.

This is a wonderful and interactive way for the local authorities to get information to the public in a quick and successful way. It’s filled with great features and well worth checking out.
