Sea Stars by Hothead Games Inc. is a fun-filled aquatic game that involves swimming as far as you can in the sea while collecting coins and avoiding enemies.

As you play this game and collect lots of coins, you can spend them in the store and purchase power-ups or new Sea Stars characters, each with their own characteristics and special abilities. Alternatively, you can find hidden treasures by opening up clam shells in the ocean.

Sea Stars features a variety of vibrant and colorful environments for you to explore; from shipwrecks to desert islands, there is no end to the excitement and adventure.

This game features Game Center support so you can keep track of your high scores and achievements, and also features sharing via iCloud and Twitter.

Sea Stars was updated to version 1.7 in mid-October of 2012. The current version has a total of 1657 customer ratings with an average rating of 4.5 out of five stars.

Although this game seems to be aimed at kids, I have to admit that I’m finding it incredibly addictive. This style of game has been done many times before but Sea Stars presents it in a fun cartoon-y way with loads of extra features to keep the game play varied and interesting.
