Glympse by Glympse Inc. helps you share your current location in real time using your iPad.

If you want to be able to share your location with someone this is the app that can do it for you. You'll be able to send an email to the person you want to alert that will show our location and ETA in real-time. As well you can specify how long you want them to be able to view this information.

There is no need for the person receiving the email to have any special software in order to view your information. You can even send a Glympse through SMS, Twitter, and Facebook. The recipient can then use a web browser to view the information.

Features of this app include the fact that your Glympse will automatically expire so you don't have to worry about your information being seen longer than you want. There is also no need for you to have a pre-set friends list or sign up for an account of any kind. The app will continue to run in the background giving real-time information to your recipient as long as you have a GPS and data connection.

This comes in handy when you're meeting up with a friend, for kids to use so parents know where they are, on your way home from work so your family knows when to expect you, and even locating each other at an amusement park or water park.
