TeachMe: 3rd Grade by 24x7digital LLC is the fifth app in the TeachMe series. It teaches your child multiplication, division, sight words, spelling, fast division, and fast multiplication.

The TeachTech character recognition engine will interpret your child’s answers and help show him or her where corrections should be made.

Like other apps in the series, it keeps your son or daughter interested using a reward system. Players win coins for correct answers which can then, in turn, be used to buy fun stuff. They can make fun photos, collect stretchable shapes, decorate scenes, build a dream home, and visit a virtual aquarium.

Features of the app include eight different sticker reward scenes, more than 175 different stickers, and personalized learning for up to 40 students. You can select which subjects each child will see, disable or enable specific questions, and change the number of correct questions the child has to answer in order to earn the reward.

Students can export photobooth images, sticker scenes, and aquarium snapshots to the Camera Roll, which can then be emailed, used as wallpaper, or sent via social network platforms.

Kids will learn single digit multiplication up to 12x12, the spelling for more than 350 3rd Grade level words, Dolch Third Grade sight words, and division facts for products up to 12x12. They will also perform timed drills to get better at both multiplication and division.

TeachMe: 3rd Grade was updated to Version 1.1 on April 24, 2013. The update added some rewards and fixed some bugs. They also made some enhancements. The app doesn’t yet have enough customer ratings for iTunes to display an average.

Like all of the TeachMe apps I’ve reviewed, I’m really impressed. The learning continues from the last installment, and kids get some consistency with the aquarium, sticker scenes, and other rewards. I highly recommend this app for Grade Three students.
