Splitr app review

Splitr by Giulio Dellorbo is a amazing music app that you definitely need to get for your iOS device.

Do you ever share your earphones with a friend? If so, then check out this app! You can actually each listen to a totally different track, using the same device and the same earphones!

When you first launch the app, you’ll see the main screen with “Load Left Song” on the top and “Load Right Song” on the bottom. Click on the farthest left button (to the left of the Play button) to access your iTunes lists. Once you’ve selected the song that will play in your left earphone, you can choose the song that will play in your right earphone.

It’s as easy as that!

No more listening to music you don’t really care for, just for the sake of listening to music: now you can choose what you want! Of course, this won’t improve your friend’s music selection if it sucked in the first place, but there’s probably something you’d prefer to listen to compared to other songs on their list!

You can control each song individually. Need a bathroom break? Just stop your music while your friend listens on. You can also control the volume for your song.

Splitr was released at the end of April, 2013. The app is suitable for users of all ages. It doesn’t yet have enough customer ratings for iTunes to display an average.

I think this is a really cool idea for an app. It isn’t very often that I’m without my iPhone and my own music supply, but a lot of my friends don’t have an iPhone and often want to listen in on my music. This gives us a lot of freedom.

For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad with iOS 5.0 or later. Splitr is optimized for iPhone 5.
