C-SPAN RADIO by Jacobs Media provides you with the news coverage you want even while on the go.

This app provides you with complete news coverage of Washington. There are commercial-free public affairs programming delivered as live audio streams, regularly scheduled programs, and audio podcasts. If you want to be able to listen to key speeches from world and national leaders as well as Congressional hearings, this is the way to do it.

Additional programming features include Authors on Book TV, C-SPAN Radio 90.1 FM for those in the Washington area and on XM Channel 119, and archival audio that is extremely rare covering events and historical leaders on American History TV.

The daily Washington Journal call-in program that airs and the Sunday network talk programs are always interesting to listen to allowing listeners to connect with each other and discuss the issues.

When you launch the app you'll have a choice of C-SPAN channels, all of which offer incredible and informative programming. Use the tabs along the bottom to view the schedules and podcasts. When you choose a program you can read a synopsis of what you'll be listening to and view its running time.

The app itself is very simple but this doesn’t work against it; instead, the focus stays on the content with a user-interface that has been designed to be worry-free for the user.
