The Oregon Trail: American Settler by Gameloft is a game that involves creating and managing your very own frontier town, with tons of customization options for buildings, crops, livestock, and much more.

This game sees you in the Wild West at the dawn of a new era, and it’s up to you to create the most prosperous town the region will ever see. You can builds hundreds of buildings while growing your own crops and tending to livestock to produce food for the town’s inhabitants.

The Wild West is not without its challenges and you will have to face obstacles like stampeding herds, hurricanes, and other natural disasters. Be sure to go prospecting for daily treasures and rewards, and while you’re out on the trial, stop by a few neighboring villages to make friends and find help to make your town even better.

The Oregon Trail: American Settler was updated to version 1.1.2 in mid-May of 2013. The update made tons of changes and improvements. The current version has a total of 912 customer ratings with an average rating of four out of five stars. 

This game delivers exactly what you would expect and there is a lot of fun in the customization options as your town develops and you unlock new features. Graphically, The Oregon Trail isn’t amazing but the style of the artwork does go nicely with the game play style so I think it works very well as a complete package.
