Haunting Melissa

Price: Free

Haunting Melissa by Hooked Digital Media, LLC brings you a horrifying ghost story that will leave you shaking.

This iPad app is from the producer of Mulholland Drive and The Ring and is meant to change the way ghost stories are told and absorbed. If you're ready to be creeped out and scared, then you'll want to give this app a try.

The backstory in the app is that Melissa has disappeared without a trace. She had warned all her friends and family that a ghost was in her farmhouse, which is in an isolated area, and this ghost was constantly talking and whispering to her. The ghost resides in the room in which Melissa's mother went crazy and died in. Now Melissa has disappeared and up until this point no-one knew what happened to her.

The story is filled with all kinds of twists and turns that will have you jumping out of your seat on your journey to find out what happened to Melissa. The story is released in a very innovative way, with unexpected and sporadic details. This leaves you on the edge of your seat in suspense at all times.

You can receive push notifications of when details become available so you won't miss anything.

Haunting Melissa was released on May 16, 2013 and currently has 363 customer ratings with an average rating of four out of five stars.

If you like a good scare, suspense, and intrigue this app is tailor-made for you. I liked that you would be given push notifications as details and hauntings happened and you just never knew when it could come through.

For: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and iPad with iOS 5.1 or later. Haunting Melissa is optimized for iPhone 5.
