STREET FIGHTER IV by CAPCOM is a fighting-action game like those found on the popular consoles.

Street Fighter has been one of the most popular and longest standing fighting games ever. It was only a matter of time before it was available on an iOS device. This new port of such a classic game has all the makings of a sure hit.

Street Fighter IV is the first true console port of a fighting game and it looks like a clean win. There are currently 14 selectable players and 11 different arenas in which to test your mettle. All of the characters special maneuvers and combo attacks have been included giving you that true Street Fighter feel.

The controls have been configured to optimize the game play but can be adjusted to suit your playing style. There is the SP button for unleashing awesome special combos but it can be disabled from the options menu. Other buttons are used for your standard punch and kick keeping the onscreen buttons to a minimum which helps to keep the interface clean looking and unobtrusive.

STREET FIGHTER IV was last updated to Version 1.00.10 on March 19, 2013 and included some bug fixes. There have been 22 ratings for the current version with an average score of 3.5 out of five.

I have always enjoyed the Street Fighter series and this is another fine addition. The controls do take a bit of getting used to but it’s not too difficult.
