Disney Store app review: get Disney merchandise wherever you are

Disney Store by Disney lets you shop for and purchase unique Disney merchandise from your iOS device. It was updated on October 31, 2012 and is available in English only. It requires only 4.4MB of storage space.

You can browse all of the merchandise available as well as new arrivals. Each item has a full product description and user reviews. If you like, you can scan any Disney product barcode with the app’s built-in barcode scanner to see video demos, product info, and character content. You can also search based on parameters you set: for example, “Goofy” will show you all Goofy-related items. You can filter down your search based on size, character, color, category, and more.

You can log in to your account from anywhere using your username and password.

The app also offers a store locator in case you want to shop in person and the ability to share favorite items via Facebook, Twitter, or email. You’ll be impressed with the super-fast and easy checkout process.

Disney Store is running on Version 2.0.1. The update added the Scan/Search button and updated the style of the app in general. It also made some bug fixes. The app has a total of 31 customer ratings with an average of three out of five stars. Feedback comments are positive aside from complaints that the app crashes any time you go into the Electronics section.

I really like the new look of the app but also experienced the app crashing upon selecting Electronics. Hopefully an update will fix this problem very soon.
