'Do Do Egg!' Is More Rotten Eggs Than Sunny Side Up

Do Do Egg! by PONOS is match three type game where you bust bird eggs to score points. With colorful animations and cheerful soundtrack, Do Do Egg! looks and sound great. However, once you master the basics of the game all that is left is unlocking different modes of the same game play which leads to an unmistakable feeling of deja vu.

Do Do Egg! linking four eggs together to crack them open. The first and last egg need to be of the same color. The more complex or long the chain, the more points received and the closer you get to a level upgrade. There is a time limit of 60 seconds which can only be extended by completing a level. In the beginning only Normal mode is available but 1 minute, Mission and Endless modes are unlockable by either reaching specific point thresholds or paying $0.99. Besides the single player mode there is multiplayer where two options are available: Score Attack or Turn Based. Score Attack uses the iDevice Game Center to find players while Turn Based is more localized, swapping turns with a person sitting next to you. If those options aren’t appealing, take a crack at the 100 puzzles available in Puzzle Mode where you must destroy all the eggs to score points and unlock the next puzzle.
