G-Whizz! Social app review: the app that lets you use Google, Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace all at once

Introduction

G-Whizz! Social by G-Whizz! Apps, LLC is an app meant specifically for those people who love using social networking platforms. It’s been designed to help you save time and energy by allowing you to use four of the major platforms all at once.

What It's All About

Do you often toggle between Facebook and Twitter or maybe Google Chat? Do you still use MySpace these days (does anyone)? If so, then you might want to check out this free app. It offers tabbed browsers so you can easily switch among Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and Google Chat. You’ll stay logged in and can switch as often as you want.

You can also use the app to save links using the Read It Later and Instapaper integration. This allows you to save your links to repost later.

Some of the other things you can do with this include loading multiple apps simultaneously, update your status across the major platforms, and opening links with the built-in browsers.

New features in Version 1.1 include desktop support, Google Talk notifications, and app badges.

Final Verdict

This appears to be a great app. To be honest, though, I’m not a big Twitter fan, and haven’t used MySpace for years, so I’m not sure how useful it would be for me. It’s nice to be able to switch between Facebook and Google Chat because I often talk to different writers and clients on those two platforms, but then I have to switch out to use Skype so it’s not really practical for me.
