Aetna Mobile app review: convenient on-the-go access to your Aetna healthcare details

Introduction

This app is proving to be an invaluable resource to users of Aetna, with a wide range of features enabling you to find a variety of healthcare services, view your Aetna member ID card and personal health records, and even view details on any of your recent claims.

Although I’m not an Aetna user myself, I’ve had a thorough look over this app and there are some fantastic features here which makes this a must-have resource for anyone who wants all of their medical information in mobile format; this app is very professionally developed and is highly recommended.

Healthcare in a Hurry

I’m going to start by mentioning what I think is the best feature in this app, the Urgent Care Finder. There is a small red button which sits at the bottom of the interface and when you tap it, this app will automatically find your current location and use it to provide you with a list of healthcare providers relevant to the services you require.

This is, of course, a fantastic tool to have and makes Aetna Mobile pretty easy to use, even for the elderly.

I’ve been getting my sister, who happens to be an Aetna user, to help me check out this app and we’ve managed to find details on a couple of her most recent claims; we were both very happy with the way the claims are laid out, with all of the information being crystal clear.

 

This app also caters to various levels of healthcare coverage because you can use the drug price checker before organizing your prescriptions in order to see how much it will cost you depending on the type of plan you have with Aetna.

Beyond this, Aetna Mobile can be used to monitor your healthcare costs, with all of your expenses and limits detailed within the app.

I think that all of these features combined really make for a fantastic resource for Aetna users, so I would definitely recommend it, if only for the sheer convenience it can offer you.

Final Words

I know I keep saying it, but I strongly recommend all Aetna users to check out this app!

The only minor negative point I’d like to make about Aetna Mobile is that I’ve found navigating the sections to be a little temperamental on occasion; it isn’t a major issue but in the interest of presenting a well-rounded review I think it is well worth mentioning.

Aside from that, I’m extremely impressed with what the developer has done here and I only hope more service providers from other industries would take note and put as much thought into apps for their customers as Aetna Inc. clearly has.
