Introduction
Posegram by Wanman, Inc. is a cool app that gives you inspiration when it comes to coming up with new poses when you take photos of your friends. If you’re getting tired of the same-old poses people do and want some excitement in your pictures, then you should check out Posegram.
What It's All About
When you first launch the app you’re asked to sign in with Facebook or Twitter, or create an account. This is because the app is actually a social networking app where you can post the cool photos you take. It’s easy to create an account if you don’t want to use an existing one: a user name, password, and your first name is all you need to provide.
You’ll get the chance to check out all the suggested users who you can follow. You also get the chance to turn off the push notifications setting. Next, you’ll see a list of poses. When you see the one you want to try, drag the camera icon up in the top right of the screen to the pose you want to use. The pose will download and a sketch/outline of the pose will appear on your screen. Just line up the sketch with the subject of your photo, have him or her (or them) copy the pose exactly, and take the photo! If needed, you can adjust the size of the sketch using a pinching gesture. It’s really easy.
Strike a Pose
There are all different types of categories of poses: Cuteness, Woman, Glamour, Man, Lover, Friends, Family, Children, Baby, Pregnancy, and Wedding. The free version has a total of 335 poses you can try out.
This is a totally novel app for me. I’ve never seen anything quite like it, and I’ve reviewed a lot of photo and video apps.
The poses are all really good. Some professional photographers might think it’s unnecessary, but for us non-pros, sometimes we need all the help we can get!
Once you’ve taken the photo, you get to edit it! The app has some basic photo editing features built right in. Once it’s perfect, you can share it on Posegram or export it to share elsewhere.
