Is There Such a Thing as Too Much Information?

After using this app for a bit I found myself asking is there such a thing as too much information and in terms of this app the answer is a resounding – YES! I get what the app is trying to do: to make your life easy by tracking your period and the details so that you can look back at your history and plan ahead.

The whole purpose seems to get lost in the process and the result is a bit of a muddled mess. The screens are busy and confusing, and just launching the app is a chore as you have to go through a number of ads to get to the actual main menu.

The idea is that you should be able to add your cycle dates in quickly, and the app tries very hard to have a cool vibe about it. Again they’ve missed the mark here. The app feels forced and just the exact opposite from cool.

I’m not sure if any woman needs to input as much information as you can with this app, that and it's really time-consuming. A tracking app should be simple, fast, and convenient, which I just didn’t find with this one.

It’s Not All Bad

Now before you think this app has no redeeming qualities it’s important to note it’s not all bad. There are some fun features and if you’re a visual person this app may work well for you as there are plenty of visual aspects. Additionally, there’s the fact that it uses a very discreet icon on your mobile device so people don’t realize what the app really is.

I also liked that it was able to predict your next 12 periods, which is great if you’re planning a holiday, a special event, or even trying to get pregnant.

If you’re trying to keep track of your moods and symptoms you can also do so in detail with this app and there’s no need to remember how you felt the last cycle.

Does it Get the Job Done?

As far as being able to track and predict your period, yes it does a great job, but it’s not exactly a fast and simple app to use.
