I really appreciated that not only could you see what the price was after the discount but you had the option of adding in the tax as well. It gives you a true look at what the final price will be rather than guessing. This can help you decide if you want to purchase an item or not.

The user interface is simple and minimalist which acts as an advantage where this app is concerned. There is no need for any additional features or functions; this is all about quick and easy results.

I think if I were to find one thing to criticize in this app it would be that I’d love to see the ability to add multiple items and tally the total, and change the quantity of an item. As a free app though it’s hard to find much wrong with this one.

Final Thoughts

Yes this is a very basic and simple app that performs one task and nothing more but I really didn’t have a problem with that. This quickly became a favorite app of mine as I found myself using it at all kinds of stores. I would definitely recommend the Discount Calculator app to anyone who is tired of figuring out the discounts in their head.
