'Bullet Time HD' Is Post-Apocalyptic Survival Perfection

Frisbee Forever) invites gamers into a post-apocalyptic world filled with danger and disease. In this dual-stick shooting game, character John Irish ventures on a quest to rescue his family from dangerous and infested mutants. Along the way the player must fight off mutants of all types and complete mini-tasks such as destroying a farm of growing mutant diseases or finding treasure. All these tasks allow the character to level up and receive money for better defense equipment. With great design and playability, the game creates a unique experience for players. Bullet Time HD offers a wide variety of weapons and gear at an affordable cost. The game's currency is silver and is collected after killing mutants. Each mission gives the player the opportunity to collect an abundance of silver for new or upgraded weapons. The ability to re-stock is also available during the game, but chose carefully since this costs silver too. The dual-stick controls may need some getting used to but after a while shooting becomes a breeze. The controls are used to make the player run and shoot at the same time in any direction, whether walking backward or forward. I found this setting very convenient because it increases the chances of survival. My gaming skills are modest so having the ability to progress in this game is a huge success for me.

The infinite supply of ammo also makes the game a lot less stressful and more exciting. Although this perk lessens the game’s difficulty, it keeps the doors to success open for those new to shooting games. Bullet Time HD really focuses on the task at hand: running through the post-apocalyptic jungle and fighting off mutants. Different mutants attempt to claim territory throughout the game by attacking at the same time. Some are huge, strong and bulky with bazooka-like weapons. These mutants posses stronger health bars and have better aim, challenging the player to move and think fast. Other mutants come from the ground and immediately begin to attack, but the black trail they leave behind while digging underground warns the player of their presence. When all of them attack the player must focus on who to kill off first in order to survive. Your character’s life decreases fast so strategizing is important. As for the game’s design, I am reminded of games from the 1990’s. The game’s setting is a wasteland filled with beat-up cars, tin-shed houses, wooden bridges, random skeletons from gigantic monsters, and of course graffiti. Although this land looks trashed, it is colored vibrantly with yellow, orange, blue and red. This reminded me of a typical 1990’s film trying to depict an urban setting from a post-apocalyptic world. I think the color scheme might have triggered this thought, but the game is unquestionably lively and action-packed.

Bullet Time HD is a sensation and ultra exciting game filled with non-stop action. It also includes a multi-player mode accessible through Game Center or the game’s server. Although the game may fall under the freemium category, the free portion is plenty good enough. With color, detailed visuals and easy -to-use controls, many players should and will keep this game in their iOS Device for a long time.
