This app allows you to add text to any picture which means you can include a romantic message, a humorous comment, or just a little something that adds to the impact of the photo. When it comes to the text you can add your text or choose from a library of quotes offered in the app.

Now with this all said, the app sounds fun and entertaining; however, I can’t even get past the first step. No matter how many times I launch the app I can’t seem to get it to take a photo, which means I certainly can’t add text. The app is free but there is also an upgrade to the Pro version which I'm guessing gives you access to more features.

I would love to be able to give a glowing review or at least one that discusses how the many features function but instead I have to refer to the iTunes webpage on this one and wonder why I couldn’t do any of the features promised.

What about other features you can use in the app? Well supposedly you can add a multitude of texts in your photographs, adjust the text size and color, and save your pictures to your Photo Library. When it comes to the photos you can use one from your Photo Library or you can use one through the built-in camera.

When you finish with your fun masterpiece don't forget to share it with friends and family on email, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Now the developer claims the user interface is intuitive and simple but I guess that wasn’t exactly my experience.

I do think that adding text to your photos can completely transform how you and your friends view them. It’s a fun way to alter the meaning of a photo or add more depth to it. Unfortunately this app doesn’t really stand out as there are plenty of apps that offer this exact kind of function.

Final Thoughts

While I like the idea of the Insta Quotes Text for Instagram app I find it way too frustrating to use and there is absolutely nothing unique about it.
