This app is definitely nothing new; I mean, we aren’t changing the wheel here. It’s a basic coloring app meant for kids and toddlers. Saying that it can make the dentist a whole lot more fun is a huge stretch. When you launch the app you are given a number of pictures to choose from, all dentist-related, of course. There are a variety of crayons lining the bottom of the screen that you can use to color with.

What’s really frustrating is the never-ending pop-ups that seem to occur throughout the entire game. It seems like every time you try to do something an ad will pop up. Because this app is intended for kids I just don’t see them putting up with this for long. I think they will grow rather tired of the app very quickly.

I do like that rather than the typical tap to apply color this coloring app requires kids to basically color with their fingers by dragging it across the screen where they want the color to show up. As well to help add to the feel of the game, there is fun and upbeat music that is playing in the background.

The app is extremely easy to use and the features are simple to understand. Kids should have no problem using this on their own. I just think that there isn’t enough in it to stay interesting over time and there are plenty of other free coloring apps that offer more variety and tools.

The Dentist Office Coloring app does offer kids a chance to be creative and have some fun but I just feel that the pages to color aren’t very exciting. There aren’t enough coloring tools and options, and the app is absolutely loaded with pop-up ads.
