MindfulMe is a very simple app that has one purpose... To track the amount of times you are able to redirect your straying thoughts back to your focal point during mindful meditation. If you are like me then you probably feel guilty every time you have to redirect your thoughts back to your breath. I realized that this was the entire point of mindfulness, we need to strengthen the ability to take our attention back to our breath. With MindfulMe we count those times as "Awareness Points." When you are ready to start a new session just click "New Session" and begin meditating like normal. Whenever you bring your thoughts back to your breath just tap the screen to add an awareness point to the session. Simple as that. You can view the totals for previous days as well on the main screen.
