Braille is the way people who are blind and visually impaired read and write. PocketBraille Reference is an application for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad that allows anyone to learn Braille.
PocketBraille Reference allows its user to look at several different Braille tables. These tables include the alphabet, numbers, and punctuation. These tables also make up the Literary Braille section of the application. Additional Braille codes will be added soon, available as updates rom the App Store. These will include Nemeth Math, Computer Braille, Grade 2 Braille, and even Braille Music. PocketBraille Reference also gives users a summary of the history of the Braille code. Make sure your Braille display is paired and that VoiceOver is on to use this feature.
