‘Mapping Belfast Musically’ is a project by Queen’s University Belfast postgraduate students Aisling Nolan and Kayla Rush. The project is an attempt to ethnographically map the musical geography of Belfast by providing atmospheric snapshots of the music of specific locations. The project leaders and contributors have attempted to capture the genius loci of places within the city of Belfast in an attempt to understand the relationship between music and place.
