If you happen to be the parent of a pre-school aged princess-in-training then the Color Mix (Princess) app is the perfect one to download. This app allows kids to use their creative flair with paints in an atmosphere built for fairy tale princesses.
It seems as though little girls and princesses go hand-in-hand so why not give them what they love with this drawing app that has a princess take on everything? Within this app kids will be able to draw using virtual paints and there is even the opportunity to mix paints and see what they can come up with on their own.
There is no need for kids to stick to the same old standard paint colors here; instead, let them mix shades together as they learn about color mixing. It's a wonderful lesson in what happens when you pick red and blue, yellow and red, and more. Kids can create their very own personalized color giving them that extra pride in their work. The way the app woks is that there are five basic colors and from this point they can mix whatever they like to achieve that perfect color.
Of course the user interface has been created so that it’s kid-friendly and they are able to work it on their own. Painting is done by using their finger and the few options and tools are all easily accessible to kids.
Fun Extra Features
To make this app a bit more exciting and fun for kids there are a few added features. Instead of just painting on a blank screen kids can choose their background image before they begin. There are a number of princess-themed ones to choose from. When they finish their masterpiece they can take save it to the Photo Album.
Another nice addition is the background music. This can be turned on or off and is rather cute, magical, and regal. If they would rather they can also pick a photo from your photo album and paint directly on it. Maybe they feel like giving everyone a princess crown, drawing jewels on people's clothes, or anything else they can do so.
What really stands out here is what the app DOESN'T do. It's not often we see this as a positive but in this case what it doesn't do is beneficial. The app doesn't contain ads, it does not collect your information, and it doesn't link to social networks so you have no fear of kids getting into something they shouldn't.
