Best iPhone Apps for Time Tracking

Reviews

You can imagine there are so many time tracking apps for iPhones out there it’s hard to know just which perform the best without reading a ton of reviews. Well below, you will find what user’s value as the most current best performing time tracking apps.   Hours Tracker
Best iPhone Apps for Time TrackingPrice: $3.99 This app used to be $0.99 so it may be a different price once you’ve read this short review. Manipulating the prices by app owners is common practice by the way as lowering the price improves rankings hence downloads. Oh, and Hours Tracker is also free but the ads are quite in your face and force some iPhones to slow right down so you may wish to spend a few dollars to get rid of these. The app itself seems to cover all aspects of time keeping and you can add as many tasks to it as you like. Most people tend to use it when working from home, but others do so down the gym, on a jog or are just curious how many hours a day they spend walking. You can export your times and earnings of dates worked etc to email or to csv files. It averages 4.5/5 from nearly 1000 user ratings so you could almost call this time tracking app excellent.   Billings Touch
Best iPhone Apps for Time TrackingPrice: Free Billings Touch gives itself a big pat on the back with its online endorsements. Its features let you track time, track expenses, track mileage, add client payments and create invoices. Unfortunately, the “free” part of the app gives you so much before it reels you in and gives you the option to send invoices via email if you purchase the in-app. To fully unlock this app you have to pay $14.99. Quite steep with respect to its competitors. Its interface is pretty sweet where you can create and add slips, add mileage and other expenses but you do need to upgrade if you want to export the data. Users suggest for this kind of cash options like having estimates for jobs and themed invoices should be included.   TimeWerks – Mobile Billing with PDF Invoice
Best iPhone Apps for Time TrackingPrice: $2.99 With built in back up data storage you don’t need to upgrade to export this data. This app does what most time tracking apps do however it will produce neatly framed invoices and will record all the billed invoices that have been paid. So for $12 less than Billings Touch you get pretty much the same features. The homepage interface display screen for individual clients is clear and straight forward where you can view invoices, projects, estimates, deposits to add and invoices to create. The projects section is particularly transparent where it’s a simple case of hours billed, hours unbilled and remaining total unpaid. User reviews are good and no crashes or bugs to report of.   Harvest Time and Expense Tracker
Best iPhone Apps for Time TrackingPrice: Free There are some bugs reported with this app like each new day the app is loaded it crashes the first time then it’s ok. Well it’s free and user reviews do range from the so so to the pretty good. It has a lovely elegant design and for most it completes what it states the app does effortlessly. Working both on and offline you get to track hours worked and billing expenses, track mileage for reimbursements, photograph your receipts with this app – very useful – and upload for free straight to your free small business account at Harvest.com. Some improvement in the dashboard is requested like being able to see hours worked, the un-invoiced total balance and billed invoices yet to be paid etc.
