What we have here is a great weight tracking app for iPhone and iPad that I have personally had the pleasure of using, with a database of more than 20,000 food items and finally an interface and layout that actually makes sense.
I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is calorie app of, if not the best calory app of its kind that I’ve come across. As a bodybuilder myself, I’ve tried countless of calorie apps and I just find the vast majority of these calory apps to be completely unsuited to my needs because of the time it takes to even register in the first place, let alone add food items daily.
This calorie app for iPhone is definitely an exception to this rule, and although I’m not really in the frame of mind of logging my ‘macros’ at this moment in time, I’m definitely going to keep this calory iPhone app on the back burner for future use.

My Macros+ Diet, Weight and Calorie Tracker is a pretty standard food tracking app in terms of the features that are available. You can choose from the database of food items, customize your own items, and even scan barcodes from within the app to find food items easily.
One thing that I really like about this app is that the macro totals aren’t just displayed for the day, but for each individual meal as well. This means you know exactly what you’re getting and you don’t have to do half of the math in your head, unlike many other apps within this genre.
Track Your Diet, Bodyweight, Goals, and More
You can also set yourself goals and targets to make sure you stay on track, which for me, basically means making sure I’m actually eating enough to fuel my workouts and recover. Maintaining a baseline food intake is definitely far simpler with a tool like this.
You’ll also find all of the usual perks, like being able to add food and meals to your Favorites list or view them in Recent and Frequent lists. You can also track your bodyweight, so again, this app definitely calls to what people such as myself actually want from a fitness tracker app.
This weight tracking app utilizes Apple Health by sharing all of the nutrition data that MM+ tracks to be displayed alongside the rest of your health data and also is now available on Apple Watch, it allows you to keep track of your daily nutrition, macros left and fast track foods straight from your wrist.
Recent updates saw the developers at a Pro Macro Calculator and the ability to set goals for your various macros and nutrients.
