Drum Beats+ app review: a cool collection of over a hundred beats-2020

Reviews

Introduction

Whether you’re a drummer looking for a neat way of practicing or you’re more of a bedroom-recording-studio type who just wants some simple beats to use, you’ll find loads of cool loops in this iPhone and iPad songmaking app, so check it out!

The best dubstep apps for the iPhone and iPad

The loops in this app for musicians range from one to four beats in length and appear to have all been recorded quite professionally, so the sound quality is definitely better than a lot of other drum apps I’ve used in the past.

If you’re looking for something to use in a true professional environment then this probably isn’t the dubstep app for you, but I’d definitely recommend checking it out if you’re just looking for a simple collection of relatively high-quality drum beats.

Drum Beats dubstep app runs on devices with iOS 10.0 or later with support of up to iOS 13.0 and it is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. It will need 607.5 MB of free memory space on your mobile device to download and install.

Featuring More Than 100 Cool Loops

Drum Beats+ (Rhythm Metronome, Loops & Grooves Machine) contains more than a hundred different drum loops that you can combine to create some awesome beats. Every loop can be played in tempos ranging from 60 – 190BPM, with options for increasing or decreasing in increments of 5BPM.

I imagine you’re going to be practicing or playing over the beats you create, so you’ll be pleased to know that you can also add a count-in at the beginning to make life a little easier.

Export Your Work With AudioCopy

The developer hasn’t offered very much in the way of options for exporting your beats, but you can use AudioCopy to move it into another app if you want. From there I imagine you can export in whichever file format you need.

Beyond what I’ve already mentioned, you can add frequently used beats to a Favorites list, and you’ll also enjoy full support for AirPlay and audiobus input

Final Words

All in all, Drum Beats+ (Rhythm Metronome, Loops & Grooves Machine) is a decent addition to the Music category of the App Store, and I’d say it’s probably suitable for amateur musicians of all shapes and sizes. I’d suggest downloading it and seeing how you like it for yourself.
