A Complete Offering

While you can certainly learn to play the piano and some great pieces with this app there is also the fact that there are 14 instruments in total you can master. Some of the additional instruments include drums, strings, harp, bass guitar, and the sitar. The piano is free but all other instruments need to be unlocked with in-app purchases. Each instrument is available for $0.99 to $1.99 or you can buy sound packages for $2.99. This is a cool and inexpensive way to try playing a variety of cool instruments.

In the app's most recent experience more instruments were added, the ability to share a message on Facebook was included, as well as a new record and setting button and scroller mechanics. The app has a very strong 4.5 out of five stars from users who love just how creative this app allows them to be and how simple it is to use.

Impress Your Friends and Yourself

After you use this app a few times you'll find you can impress your friends and yourself with all your musical knowledge. This app simply requires you to use your fingertips to play the piano and because it is so easy, kids and adults can use it. Experiment with the controls as well because you can tap on the keys or slide your fingers across them for a really cool sound.

The user interface also deserves a mention here as it's very well done. The keyboard uses a wide variety of bright colors for a fun and engaging look. You can record all your creations and when you finish play them back, or share them. There are plenty of ways to share your song: Facebook, email, Twitter, and send it to the SoundCloud. It’s a simple offering but fun and cute.
