Flow Free is an iPad puzzle app where you connect the colored dots without overlapping other lines. It begins with an easy puzzle, and gets increasingly difficult. There are four time limits to beat with a 30 second, one minute, two minute, and five minute option. This game is bright and colorful, and also fun to play.
Flow Free is a bright and colorful game that calls upon your problem solving skills to achieve the goal. It has a simple concept, requiring the player to connect the dots without overlapping the paths. I don’t play a lot of games, but I did find this one to be fun! It reminded me a little bit of Traffic Jam. In Traffic Jam, you have to place all the cars on the playing field to cover all the spaces, without overlapping. In Flow Free, you have to drive the path to cover every space, and you also cannot overlap.
The neon colors of Flow Free are nice and bright. As you pass a square, it too illuminates as though the line drawn were a neon light. It has a rather futuristic feel because of this.

Easy & Fun
Flow Free is an easy-to-start game. It is the increasingly difficult placement of the dots which you must connect that makes it more challenging as the levels increase. It is not as much the levels, however, as simply how many you can complete in the time limit that dictates your score. Your score is linked to your Game Center for easy sharing, but is not linked to Facebook directly to annoy your Friends List.
Due to the game being based on a time limit, you can easily play a quick 30-second round while waiting for your coffee in line, or take a five minute break and refocus. I honestly love the flexibility provided.
Flow Free is an iPad and iPhone app that has a great presentation, and is fun to play. There aren’t a lot of games that I like to play, but this strategy or puzzle game is great fun for all ages. My two-year-old liked connecting the dots and didn’t care to win, and my six- and 11-year olds also enjoyed trying to solve the puzzles. I’m always on the lookout for a game that everyone can enjoy, and this had them fighting for a turn! I’d say that’s a win!
