Blood Type Diet® app review: based on the bestselling book 2021

Reviews

Introduction

Blood Type Diet® provides much of the same great content found in Dr. Peter D'Adamo's bestselling book of the same name, delivered via a blood type app straight to your iPhone and iPad, so that you can learn how to eat according to your blood type to safeguard your health for the long-term.

The best iPhone apps for nutrition

While I think that boiling down one’s nutritional requirements to their blood type is somewhat of an oversimplification of a far more complex subject, I personally don’t know enough about the subject to say with any degree of certainty, but I find this blood group diet app to be very informative.

With that in mind, I definitely think that this iPhone and iPad blood type diet app is worth checking out because a lot of people will find that any positive changes to their diet and lifestyle will yield dramatic beneficial effects especially with what is found in this app, which is one of the best blood group apps.

Eat Based On Your Blood Type

This app has been designed to provide you with a pint-sized iOS format of Dr. Peter D'Adamo's bestselling book, Blood Type Diet®, containing a detailed breakdown of each blood type and its related foods.

Best iphone and ipad apps

When you first start on any new diet you’re likely to come across a lot of uncertainty, so any questions you might have should be readily answered in the FAQ section which I think is a great addition to a resource like this.

Create a Family Food List

Once you’ve determined your blood type, you can then use Blood Type Diet® to compile a list of foods that are best suited to your blood type, and I also really like the way you can combine common foods for multiple blood types with the Family Food List function.

This means that you can get the whole family in on the action, and while you’re at it you’ll be pleased to know that you can create grocery lists and even share them with your spouse via email, making this a very worthwhile download to your iOS device if you’re looking to shape up your loved ones too!

Cons

  • While this app has generally been well received, one user has pointed out some of its limitations: “What would be truly helpful is an app that consolidates all of the recipes across the various Eat Right cookbooks and allows the user to filter recipes across blood types. Every household is going to have multiple blood types and until an experience is offered that accounts for this the diet is, and will remain, a logistical nightmare. Ex. My wife is A and I'm B which means we need two separate cook books PLUS this app to check ingredients when we go shopping.”

Final Words

Blood Type Diet® isn’t really the kind of iPhone and iPad app I can imagine myself using on a regular basis but those of you who are looking for a new way of improving your overall health and maybe even losing some weight in the process should definitely stand to benefit from downloading it.
