As a long-time musician I can definitely appreciate the value of this good metronome app for iPhone, and while it isn’t the cheapest metronome app in the Music category of the App Store it really is worth the money because, frankly, it blows a lot of the competition out of the water.

The Master of Metronomes

This is a great little app that you can use to master your understanding of timing and rhythms in music, with halftime and swing feels, as well as 5 volume sliders and mute buttons to control quarter, 8^th, 16^th, triplet, and beat note sounds.

You can manually set the tempo on your metronomes by tapping the display on your iOS device, and there is also a handy integrated tone generator so that you can ensure your instrument is perfectly in tune.

Create Complex Rhythms

Dr.Betotte TC also provides a very cool Multi Beat Mode that you can use to create complex, subdivided rhythms, and you can save all of your different tempos and settings within the app. Your saved content can also be backed up via iCloud if you like.

In addition to all of this, you’ll find increasing/decreasing tempos and other highly useful functions not often found in apps of this kind, so I would definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the market for a metronome app with gusto!
