We've got a cute little game to keep kids busy, especially for those who love dogs. The Dogs Spot the Difference app can be played on your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone and in this game you'll be looking at two pictures of the same dog/puppy and trying to find the difference. The pictures are all random and the differences can be very noticeable or quite small and hard to spot. The app supports Game Center so you'll be fighting for the highest overall score, weekly, and daily score.

Test Your Observation Skills

Of course kids love spot-the-difference games like Dogs Spot the Difference but really anyone can play it. It will put your observation skills to the test as you are shown random pictures of cute and adorable puppies and dogs doing a variety of things and you need to find what it is different between them. The fact that you are fighting to get to the top of the overall, weekly, and daily scores just adds another layer of fun and challenge. The difficulty level is always different in each of the pictures, which is a big part of why the game remains cute and interesting.

This app hasn't been updated in quite some time with its latest update featuring a number of crash fixes. The app scores four out of five stars from users who seem to gush about the photos and the gameplay. There are a few negative comments regarding the fact that some of the pictures aren't the best quality, which can make spotting the difference hard.

The Gameplay Experience

As soon as you launch the game you are taken to the main screen and there are no options or tools to wade through, it’s just right to the gameplay. While the photos aren’t exceptional quality I don’t find they are as bad as I was expecting and the content is certainly adorable. The sound effects/sounds are almost non-existent, but again this isn’t a bad thing. What I don’t like is the ad banner that stretches across the bottom of the screen and really takes away from the game.  I can imagine kids may even tap on the ads by mistake.

Your score and how many differences you have found are displayed at the center of the screen, which is in incredibly small font and hard to read. You are working to find a number of differences and I have to say, they aren’t easy to spot.
