If you consider yourself somewhat of a professional when it comes to taking the perfect selfie then why not challenge your friends to a friendly battle? The Selfie:Wars app can be used on your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone and is a really cool take on a social game. In this game you'll need to take a selfie and then apply a filter and post the picture to your friends. They will need to take on the challenge in order to unscramble your selfie and check out the picture in the way it's meant to be seen.
Sure you can share your standard selfies that everyone has already seen a ton of, or you can share photos that will leave people intrigued. The Selfies:Wars app works by allowing you to take a selfie, add a filter that will totally obscure the photo, and then post it to a particular person, or everyone. What's really fun is that you can post it anonymously so your friends will be even more intrigued by this scrambled looking picture. There is even an added customization tool that allows you to set the challenge level of just how hard the selfie will be to unscramble.
In the latest update there were a number of bug fixes made so users can expect even smoother performance. The app requires iOS 7.1 or later to use. It currently has 4.5 out of five stars from users but no customer comments at this time.
Features of the App
It should be noted that in order to use Selfie:Wars you will need to have a Facebook account, use your email in order to show who is sending it, or you can use anonymous mode. Next you can either pick an existing photo or take a new one then share publicly, with a group, a friend, or anonymously. Be sure to pick a filter that really messes with the photo, leaving everyone confused. You're almost finished at this point; all that's left is to choose which game your friends will need to play in order to unscramble the selfie.
The game goes both ways as you can check out the selfies that your friends have posted and you can view other public ones from players worldwide. The app itself is rather impressive as everything is smooth and polished and this one can definitely be addictive.
