Telegram Lite is a very basic app for iPhone and iPad that enables you to send short voice messages to your friends and family as well as storing them on your device, but please note that this free version only allows you to send messages of up to five seconds in length.
Although I like the idea behind this app I can’t help but feel as if the concept is a little outdated in light of newer developments like Whatsapp and even Facebook Messenger, both of which enable you to send voice messages while also offering a whole heap of other features.
This app has been designed so that you can exchange voice messages with your contacts in a convenient format, as well as the ability to save your voice messages to easily access them for future use when required.
There is also an integrated search facility that you can use to find messages and contacts based on sender name or your own assigned tags, so once you’ve sent a large number of messages and want to recover them with ease you should have no problem doing so.
One useful thing about Telegram Lite is that you can send messages offline and they will be queued for delivery for when you are connected. Of course if you are online your messages are sent instantly so that you can get your point across without having to type a text.
What’s more, this app offers provides full support for mass sending of messages thanks to the Group feature, but all in all I would recommend just sticking to Whatsapp or Viber because you’ll find all of the same features.

Although the free version of this app gives you a chance to check out the basic features you should be aware that you are only able to record voice clips of up to five seconds in length, making it useless for sending more substantial messages
Telegram Lite for iPhone and iPad is a nice idea but I think it’s a little out of date, so do yourself a favor and save your time and money and just use a free messenger app like Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, or Viber.
