If you're planning a trip to Las Vegas, in particular a trip to Luxor, then we have the perfect app for you. The Luxor Las Vegas app for your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone is the official app for the MGM Resort property. This app acts as an interactive guide to all the property has to offer you so you can refer to it throughout your stay. Think of this as your virtual concierge where you can buy show tickets, make restaurant reservations, book a relaxing spa appointment, see a map of the entire property, and so much more. It’s your definitive guide on all things Luxor Las Vegas.
Thanks to the Luxor Las Vegas app you'll be able to take full advantage of everything the property has to offer like its amenities, food options, shopping, casino, shows, spa, and more. Use the app to find information, access a map of the property, make reservations, and even purchase tickets. There's a good chance the property has a whole lot more to offer than you even thought. You can check out this app before you go to familiarize yourself with the property and of course make use of it while you're there.
The app is free to use and was just updated so it now supports iOS 8. The app has three out of five stars from users, which paints a clear picture that it's still missing the mark in some areas. At this time there are no user comments.
Access all kinds of information
Busy and Cluttered
Upon launching the Luxor Las Vegas app you are taken to the main menu which feels awfully busy and cluttered. It almost feels like one giant ad; even the navigation bar along the bottom of the screen looks more like an ad banner. With that aside, additional information you can find here is the bookmark tool so you can mark attractions you want to visit, the in-app search that lets you search by keyword, there is a Vegas Hits game that you can play for free, you can order room service straight from the app, access the resort directory, and more.
The whole app just feels a bit much. I get that all the tools and features are handy but either the information needs to be displayed in a more user-friendly manner or it needs to be scaled back a bit to offer a smoother user experience.
