If you've got plans to head into the great outdoors and enjoy a little camping then we have an app that is meant to help you find a campsite. The ReserveAmerica Camping app has been designed for your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone and gives users the ability to find private, federal, and state campgrounds. To make the search easy you can locate a site by amenities, date, or by location. This is great when you want to plan ahead or if you’re making a last minute decision to go camping and don’t know where to camp.
The ReserveAmerica Camping app has been designed to help you find the perfect campsite that is located in the spot you're looking for and has all the amenities you want. With this app users will be able to search for a campsite based on a number of different filters. Search by address, city, your current location, the amenities you're looking for, the activities you want to do, the name of the place, the length of stay, or the arrival date. You'll be able to check out all your results displayed in a list or on a map if you prefer.
This app requires iOS 7.0 or later to use and was updated during the summer with some new terms and conditions. The app doesn't score very high with users; however, as they have only given it 2.5 out of five stars. Reading through the customer comments it seems this one lacks in features and some have pointed out it's not as helpful as the actual website.

Tools Offered to You
So what tools are offered to users in the ReserveAmerica Camping website? Unfortunately there's not a whole lot. You'll be able to check out additional details about each of the campsites and view photos, you can mark campsites as favorites so you don't forget which ones you were interested in, you can read summaries of the campsites, get easy-to-follow driving directions, and also make a reservation by calling or visiting the ReserveAmerica.com website. Some of the other filters you can use in your search included if the location allows pets, it if has hook-up, the type of site, if it's waterfront, and more.
The user interface really doesn't stand out, and it works smooth enough but there is nothing really exciting about it. It feels like in general this app just kind of barely gets by offering the bare minimum without taking it further.
